If you love a good cocktail, but you’re trying to cut down on calories and your alcohol consumption, then Haus is probably for you. If you’re indifferent about cocktails and aren’t trying to cut back on anything, well, Haus is definitely still for you. It’s THAT good.

We’ve been one of Haus’ biggest fans for a long time now. Their premium, lower-calorie aperitifs are our go-to drinks for weeknights, weekends, or really any occasion. The fruit, herb, and botanical-infused drinks are delicious straight-up over ice, but they’re also fantastic mixed with anything from sparkling water or wine to hard liquor!

We decided to take things up a notch, so we tapped a few mixologists from our favorite craft cocktail bars to whip up some ultra-special cocktails using Haus as the base. All of these cocktails are easy to make at home and don’t require any ingredients that can’t be found at a local grocery store.

Below are our five can’t-miss Haus cocktails:

5. Lavender Sage Lemon Sour

Haus Flavor: Lemon Lavender

Other Ingredients: Lemon juice, egg white, lavender bitters, sage (for garnish)

Lemon lavender cocktails never go out of style. This cocktail could have been our favorite but it’s slightly more complicated to make than the rest on the list and for that reason, it landed at number 5.

In a cocktail shaker, add the white of one egg, a half-ounce of lemon juice, 4oz of Haus Lemon Lavender, and a few dashes of lavender bitters (optional, but recommended). Add a few ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 90 seconds or until it becomes thick and frothy. Strain the liquid into a chilled glass, then slap a sage leaf between your palms (to release the essential oils) and float it on top of the drink. Et, voila!

4. Elderflower Cosmo

Haus Flavor: Citrus Flower

Other Ingredients: St. Germain, lemon juice, rock candy (for garnish)

St. Germain is an elderflower liqueur that is often called bartender ketchup: if you don’t like a cocktail as is, simply add some St. Germain and odds are you will like it much more. While the Citrus Flower flavor certainly doesn’t need any “ketchup,” the elderflower just adds an extra oomph!

For this simple, yet elegant cocktail, simply combine five parts Haus Citrus Flower to one part lemon juice in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, strain the ice from the liquid and pour into a glass. If you want to be really fancy, garnish with rock candy that can be stirred into the drink for added sweetness.

3. The Spicy Greyhound

Haus Flavor: Grapefruit Jalapeño

Other Ingredients: Salt, fresh lime, jalapeño (for garnish)

Who doesn’t love a spicy margarita on taco night? We sure do, and this low-calorie version was so good that we might have to start drinking this one every night of the week.

To start, cut a lime in half and run it around the rim of the glass. Then place the glass upside down on a plate of salt. Then, combine 5 parts Haus Grapefruit Jalapeño and 1 part lime juice with ice in a shaker tin. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, then strain the low-ABV marg into the salted glass. Garnish with lime or a slice of jalapeño (or both).

2. Pomegranate Old Fashioned

Haus Flavor: Pomegranate Rosemary

Other Ingredients: Fresh orange peels, sugar cubes (or sweetener of choice), angostura bitters

The old fashioned is a staple cocktail for a reason. It’s designed to amplify flavors in the bourbon being used, so a quality base is a must. We think this method would be great with any of the Haus flavors, but the Pomegranate Rosemary is our favorite.

First, place a sugar cube in a chilled glass with a two-inch piece of orange peel. Add a few dashes of bitters and muddle it up with a wooden spoon until the sugar cube is dissolved. Next, add two ounces of Haus Pomegranate Rosemary and a few ice cubes to the glass and stir for about 30 seconds. Then strain the liquid into a rocks glass with a large ice cube (regular ice cubes are a-ok too). Finally, twist a fresh piece of orange peel to release the essential oils, then rub it along the rim of the glass and add it into the drink.

1. The Light White Russian

Haus Flavor: New Fashioned

Other Ingredients: Cold brew coffee, whipped cream, chopped hazelnuts (for garnish)

The White Russian was made famous by the movie The Big Lebowski. It’s s simple cocktail made with vodka, coffee liqueur, and milk (or cream). This low-cal version is a show-stopping after-dinner cocktail to serve your guests, but it couldn’t be easier.

Simply mix equal parts cold brew coffee (or chilled coffee) with Haus New Fashioned in a shaker tin with ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds and strain into a fresh glass. Then, top with whipped cream (fresh is best) and add a pinch of chopped hazelnuts on top.
